This mystical novel is about the war between Russia and Ukraine. In it, every plot and every character is an allegory that shows the military events as everyday sketches. It is surrealism. But it is true. Nothing in this book is invented, except for the metaphysical images: all the described incidents really happened, and the prototypes of the characters are taken from real people and events. There are no military horrors here, like executions. The book is about human souls. The novel has three plot lines. The first is a love story, the second is a story of betrayal, envy, slander from comrades, the third is a variety of everyday stories reflecting the moral decline of the people. The book contains a lot of humor and satire. The Bible terms are decoded for atheists, which convinces that the commandments are a healthy thing and, if you follow them, it is easy to establish a good life in society. Also, the book presents many facts about the war, about the history of countries, shows the vision of the situation by both sides of the conflict, through the eyes of ordinary people. The main theme a multifaceted allegory of war as a spiritual catastrophe caused by the total violation of the biblical commandments. War appears as a natural result of universal moral decay and rejection of divine commandments. The main idea of the book is to show that there are no external culprits of war, the culprit is every citizen. This is an anarchist's view of war, that is, without justifying any side.
