Faust: The Bidding

Hundreds of Years ago, Johann Faust lost the love of his life and in his despair sold his soul to the Devil in exchange for a moment of true happiness. Unfortunately the Devil, named Baal, did not know how to fulfill this contract. As a result of his soul being Damned, Faust cannot go to Heaven and since Baal hasn't covered his end of the bargain this means Faust cannot go to Hell. Because of this Faust is now unable to die, but in his longevity has discovered that an unknown Hellion killed his beloved. Baal, believing that revenge will bring Faust happiness has sent an assistant, Mephistopheles who is under the identity of an emo 20 year old man named Meff Starson, to help John Faust, now assuming the modernization of his name and running a small printing shop, track down who did it. Complicating matters is that Mephistopheles isn't necessarily what he seems to be, and Faust now has to balance his search for the truth while protecting his friends and his employees from those who aren't bound by the rules.
