Very good summary of Christology from an orthodox perspective

This was the required text--along with A Tour of the Summa by Msgr. Paul J Glenn published by Tan--for my graduate Christology class at Christendom. I found The Father's Son to be a good, comprehensive, but not overwhelming introduction to the subject of Christology from a biblical and traditional perspective. James O'Connor is solidly orthodox, so you do get the official teachings of the Catholic Church. No need to worry about sneaky liberal theologians giving their own perspectives under the guise of portraying offical Catholic beliefs. O'Connor also counters many liberal and heretical arguments about Christ. So overall this is a great book for the study of Christology. I recommend it.
