A photographic celebration of fatherhood, this tome portrays men from all walks of life as they enjoy their infant children. The men also share their thoughts of what it means to be a father. 50 duotone photos throughout.
I found the photographs of fathers with their babies touched my heart. As a mother, I know how DEEPLY I feel for my two children. This book allowed me to see that men, too, are profoundly touched and forever changed when their child is born. I enjoyed reading each father's short narrative about how they cried, felt joy, enriched their relationships with the child's mother, and that they'd rather stay at home with their family than go out with "the guys". A GREAT Father's Day gift or Father-to-be gift!
Celebrate a Masterpiece

The tears flowed, and my soul burst with joy while reading Fathers. It shares the vulnerability and love of fathers in ways never before experienced. The cross section of age, careers, ethnic backgrounds brings a universal awakening to the gentleness which fathers feel, but seldom are free to express. It is a liberation of males, in the best sense, and is, in a beautiful way, a manual for fathers, present and to be. Fathers is a book you will lovingly place as a permanent fixture in your living room

This book is visually stunning. While looking at the photographs I found myself smiling, laughing, and yes, even wiping a tear from my eye. The photos of the fathers and their babies touches the heart. The brief text that accompanies each picture tells about that fathers hopes and dreams for his child. This is the type of book I'll pick up over and over again, not only because of the wonderful photographs, but because it is so uplifting.
