A Book for Sons and Daughters

Don Wood is a compassionate, insightful, diligent and honest man, husband, father, employer, and teacher. This book is the product of a life well-lived, a deep and pondering reflection, and years of Biblical studies. He tells stories of his childhood and of his life as a father. He makes connections between real-life challenges and Biblical wisdom. He teaches us how to pray, how to give meaning to your life, how to connect to your physical and spiritual Father, and how to "empower and release" the next generation. To a country languishing in a moral vacuum, in a day where lack of meaningful relationships with our fathers is a general lament, and where the psychological gap between generations is growing into an abyss, I recommend this book. This is not a "Religious" book, but a "good" book in the old fashioned sense: it encourages the life of prayer and action, right conduct, enlightened thinking, and a compassionate attitude. Its messages are simple, direct and profound.
