Her screams remind me of the time I nearly had her in my grasp, the taste of her blood still fresh In my mind. How these foolish folk have not known of my presence eludes me. I tire of lurking in the shadows. Yet I have my Queen to thank for my newfound freedom. If stalking my prey is what you could call freedom, I try to let my paws sink into the soil, calling to another part of me, a part that twists and contorts my mind. It wasn't hard to locate my shiny beacon, her limbs and face dotted with jewels. The sounds she is making are sounds I will keep locked up tight with those I keep of her eyes.

I find training to be futile. Although I'm agile and strong like Andromeda built me to be, without a Teramainian Nighthawk, I'm just a birdless rider, another soldier. I can still feel his eyes roaming over my body; the unsettling chill it leaves me with lingers long after I've woken. No matter how many of Tabitha's boys I terrorise, I can never seem to shake the feeling that I'm waiting for him, that I'll see him sooner than I'm ready for.
I find myself ensnared, not by claws or fangs, but by the most hauntingly beautiful pair of wolf's eyes that I have ever looked upon. Eyes I have never forgotten, no matter how hard I have tried.
