Suzanne Barr took a horrible true crime and wove it into a story that anyone can read. You won't be able to put it down. This is one of those books where you get all the investigation information about the crime, but aren't tempted to skip over the boring parts. It all relates to what happened and Ms. Barr delivers a knock out.

I felt like I was reading a novel! The writing skill of this author is wonderful. Every page had me wanting more. The time and energy that went into researching this book has paid off ten fold for Ms. Barr. Looking forward to further publications from this author.

I have read fiction by Suzanne Barr and found this true story to be riveting. Couldn't put it down and read it in two days. The reporting and description of trial, medical reports was reported in an interesting way but accurate. A very tragic story that S. Barr investigated and reported in her usual true form...Fantastic!!!! Hope to read more by her.

Absolutely wonderful book - couldn't put it down. Read more like fiction than a true crime book. Can't wait for more from Suzanne!

Ms. Barr has done a wonderful job of reporting this tragic story! Then she writes it as if it were fiction. A great combination that kept me turning the pages! I highly recommend it!
