Strengthening My Faith

This book is fantastic. Each angle approached provided thought provoking facts of documented history, which viewed and read with an open mind, can only bring a person to personal belief; or if one is already a believer, solidify this belief. This book, Defending Your Faith, documents reasons that the Christian faith is the true faith. What could be better than shoring up, solidifying, or coming to a new belief, based on documented history, supported by numerous sources, inside and outside of the Christian body of believers? This book is a definite read for anyone seeking facts on Christianity, or seeking knowledge on how to defend one's beliefs.

Answering the challenging questions..

A Christian bases their beliefs on faith. That is a fundamental part of the religion. At some time in a Christian's life, he or she will be challenged to defend their beliefs. Few have the answers. Fast Facts On Defending Your Faith attempts to support the Christian by offering answers. Topics covered include: Is Christianity unique when compared to other religions/philosophies? Is the Bible the only sacred book with firm evidence of divine inspiration? How can one person, Jesus, be the only way to God My one criticism was that it did not hold my attention. Reading this book was like listening to a lecture. However, the authors respond to challenging questions with concise answers. Christians need to know why they believe in the resurrection, the virgin birth, etc. Ankerberg and Weldon attempt to guide the Christian in answering these questions.
