Nothing good is easy

If you are looking for the highest quality results done safely then the methods in this book will serve you. It is true that the techniques given are not easy. There is a lot of assumed knowledge and beginners will need to study carefully. I have found the information here to be invaluable. Once I was able to unravel the content, I invariably found Mr. Warner to be correct. His approach is to obtain professional quality joinery but without handcutting skills. The jigs and fixtures are the key to remove the operators dependence on hand to eye coordination. Give it a chance and you will be able to do things you never thought possible. One has to have a concentration on detail to fully exploit this book. If you want woodworking for dummies, you will get furniture with no character or "WOW" factor.
