At 55 I love these books as much as the kids do

I give these books as gifts to kids in the family and to school libraries and I always spend a pleasant hour or so leafing through them myself before I gift them. The book on horses and this one on farms have been special hits with the children in my family. (Don't tell anyone but I actually bought a copy of the one on horses for myself, too.) The photos are great, the text is informative but never dreary, and they can be read by just about anyone who can read. The range of subject matter in the Eyewitness series seems almost unlimited. What more can you ask for in books for children? ANYTHING that gets kids reading willingly gets five stars from me.
