"The Rise Of X" is the first episode of a short story series portraying the battle of good vs. evil in the small central Michigan village of Chesaning. Two lifelong friends Victor, and Stanley move from the city of Muskegon to the small rural farm town of Chesaning in hopes to live a more secluded lifestyle. Stanley, and Victor had both e-signed a yearlong lease to a house they had only seen mere pictures of online for a strangely affordable monthly rate. They begin to regret their decision almost immediately after finding out the morbid history of the house from local residents of the town. A house with a murderous darkened past begins to reveal itself to the boys. Unbeknownst to Stan, and Vic this is the beginning of an extensive battle to keep their souls as well as the residents of Chesaning. A murderous blackened story begins to reveal itself at a intense rate with many laughs to spare along the way.
