You Would Do Well To Stay Away From This Man

David Lavender is adept at spinning little tales and throwing out one-liners at the expense of those gentle folks who put up with the man. However, Mr. Lavender is clearly deranged and that is never more evident than on the golf course. Should you be so unfortunate as to ever play a round of golf with this author, I assure you that you will become so unnerved by his unorthodox approach to the game (especially on the putting green) that it is unlikely that your own game will ever recover. By all means read the book, but never approach Lavender for a friendly game. If you should forsake this advice, I'm afraid the consequences will be gruesome.

Fantasy Golf is FUN!

I bought this book on a whim...I loved the title and that is what prompted me to purchase it. We all need a combination of golf, fantasy and sanity in our all too hectic, crazy lives. This book is a quick and fun read and filled with great humor by a bunch of golfers who don't take themselves too seriously. I felt as if I "knew" these guys by the time I finished the book and hope to someday meet Dave Lavender and play a round of "real golf" with him, although I am sure my handicap will prevent me from ever hitting the links with him...he's obviously far more talented them I on the green! This book is a great read for anyone who wants a distraction and needs a fun release and a sure laugh. You'll enjoy this book, it's worth the purchase price! You'll especially enjoy hysterical commentary from all of the other Fantasy Golf participants, too. They, along with the author, certainly seem to be bunch of fun loving characters who make this book what it is...a great read! They all add to the fun of this "sane" book...all golfers needs to read this. This book will make a great stocking stuffer come holiday time for your favorite golfers, get it, they'll love it.
