Maggie Deas is disenchanted with the circumstances of her life. Disappointments in romantic relationships have left her void of the energy to which she is accustomed.

When Maggie's best friend, Jay Charles, introduces her to his handball friend, Dr. Perry Montgomery, she finds herself fantasizing about the handsome doctor.
