"Fantasies Of Central Park" pokes fun at all the characters that anyone would find in any public park across America and around the world. The fictional story is based on relatable characters that enrich our society and expands the public's cultural experience when in inner city parks. It deals with how subcultures interact with each other as a collective and how those groups interact with different collectives all within the boundaries of space meant to be shared. The story slightly touches on how communities are structured and why some behaviors are accepted in some communities and not in others. This story also explores the how and the why shared space is divided up amongst the various groups of a park, and how that segregation develops within a community. Although these are serious topics, this book, alleviates these tens themes through comedy and satire, for there is humor in relatable characters, stories, and social interactions. Keep in mind, not all encounters with park people are enjoyable or even notable and not everyone follows or even knows about the unspoken rules in a shared space. Above all, this story uses comical exaggerations to explore the aspects of park society, its hierarchy amongst its people, and the politics these people practice. Some of these fabrications are obvious but some of them are so realistic that one could not only believe it's credibility, they could testify to experiencing the same or similar events while visiting inner city parks that are frequented by people of all genders and ages. Regardless of what is obvious or not, "Fantasies Of Central Park" is a detailed and complex story that unfolds in ways that are hilariously entertaining.
