Famous Digital Artist: Digital Collages Vol 2

Famous Digital Artist is an extensive collection of digitally crafted images made originally to share with my friends on Facebook. I did these while I was on a previous break from painting. My current break is all about killing time, because I can paint at any time. I have a lot of time to paint. I owned the Photoshop and Illustrator programs that I used to make these images. A good number of the images are based on works of art that I created beforehand. Then I digitized them.

My goal for making these was, well, to make them look cool. They are primarily abstract, and are intended to be exciting and visually stimulating in nature. I knew enough about Photoshop to do what I wanted with the images. They had to be completely unusual and chaotic in the sense that a lot of motion is going on everywhere. An unparalleled dynamic is forged into being through the use of bright colors and vivid contrast combined with this inherent motion that is involved.

The digital collages in both volumes of Famous Digital Artist are all astounding examples of work by an artist with a hawk's eye for detail. By now, I kind of just know what looks good. Using photo manipulation tools to make cool imagery for a large audience was awesome. These were produced at a time when Facebook was just getting to be as popular as it is today. Everybody was on Facebook, like, more so back then. So, a lot of people saw these images when they first came out. Sending these images out to friends, and watching individuals react was fun in its own merit. Seeing these images move into the future through these books is truly a blessing and miracle, as well.

The process of making the digital collages started with some type of image of artwork, and many times it was my own artwork. I found an image to work with, basically. Then I would flip things around, stretch things, change the saturation, use the liquify tool, and more. I used liquify a good deal, as well as the transform tool. I also used the healing brush tool a lot, as well.

The images are intended to appear somewhat chaotic and complex. You should perhaps spend a little time looking at each one of them, and sort of study the images to maybe get a sense of the steps I went through to make these manifestations of art (or remixes, I like to call them), come to life.

I almost feel connected to the future in some way through these works, and I understand that being ahead of your time involves using key ideas from the past blended with your own ideas to create stunning works of art unlike any the world has ever seen. Add this book to your collection to revisit all of this colorful, abstract, complex, and brilliant artwork many times over. Try Famous Digital Artist today
