Leaving a legacy and helping others ? these are the main reasons FamilyPrint was written. Tim and Tiffany?s book is a dual perspective of the war in Iraq and the lives of a deployed soldier and his family. Tim was deployed to Iraq as an Army Blackhawk Pilot performing MEDEVAC missions. Tiffany was given her own mission ? raising and supporting their four small children while Tim was away. The Stoner 6 created a family blog in order to communicate with Tim and each other during Tim?s year-long tour of duty. The blog soon reached beyond thir family and friends. Other families of deployed service men and women discovered the blog and started sharing their comments. What started as a "family project" became a source of comfort and support. When Tim returned safely to his family, they realized what the blog had meant to them and others. They wanted to share their stories through a different platform. They chose to publish a book. Each page in FamilyPrint is custom designed and individually laid-out. The final product is as unique in size, shape and design, as the editorial content and the family whose stories are an "open book."
