Installation is smooth, tutorial included, hit the ground running.

I installed this on a Windows system in under five minutes. O.K., I took the time to read the quick start guide, and then stuffed the disk in. It was not geared to start the start-up program automatically, so I manually started the disk. You have to keep watching if you do not want to miss anything.
At first, I was disappointed that there was only one disk. However, it did the entire backup setup and any file conversions needed. Then it collected the updates online. Finally, I noticed there was a tutorial.
The online registry went smoothly, and it was ready to run without a reboot; being from times past, I rebooted anyway. I created a shortcut to the desktop. However, I did not see any app created.
I repeated the operation on a Windows system as a backup or alternate system. Instead of using the quick guide, I used the on-system tutorial, stopping the video frequently to try out what it said the system can do.
Now, just having fun building trees and populating with pictures and records. The next step will be to try new charts and see if I can transfer audio cassette tapes to the system. Oh, with the help of Family Tree Maker, I did have to load Bing maps onto the system to see the 3D versions.
So this is a great getting-off-the-ground system with very flexible multiple views and intuitive navigation.
Things change fast, and versions go out of date.
