I thought this was a delightful book! Truly, anyone who has ever lost anyone can empathize with the author in her fantasized rewriting of history. In fact, by the end of the book, you have a hard time actually figuring out what is fact and what is fantasy. Surely the sign of a good book! And yes, while there were editing errors and such, the story as a whole is very engaging. It has all the elements of a good book: spies and intrigue, love of family and spouse, multiple settings and wonderful descriptions of those places, and an interesting plot.I have been fortunate enough to have actually met the author and found out, quite to my delight, that a great deal of the adventures contained within the book are actual incidents that have occurred - mostly in the author's own life. Additionally, her son was truly in the CIA and knowing that makes the fantasy version that much more plausible....and more interesting!! Do yourself a favor and pick this one up today! It is an easy read and thoroughly enjoyable. I am looking forward to the sequel - and YES, she IS writing one!! Hurray!!
Family Ties Reunited

Family ties Reunited is a book which I liked because it did two things well. First, it told a story about a CIA agent and in doing so gave us a view of Other countries like Ireland and New Zealand amd also it was a suspense story, since we don't know whether this is the truth or just a fantasy of one of the major characters, the Mother of the agent. The flaws I saw were minimal, but it had a few gramatical errors but that might have been typing or editing errors. It was a "grabber," in that I read it through quickly wanting to see what would happen next. The Author seemed to leave it open-ended so I hope there is a sequel.
