'Family Ties' was a very good read. The secondary characters were just as interesting as the main. It opens one's eyes to the 'AIDS' epidemic, while sharing a beautiful love story within a love story. I cried at the end of the book and just wanted to start reading it all over again. Very touching. It will make you believe that true love knows no boundaries.

This was a very good book by Jacquelin Thomas. We were first introduced to Marc from her anthology Cupid's Bow.Marc was given some troubling news by his mother on her death bed. After being hurt by many woman he has given up on loving and trusting. That is until he meets and gets to know Mack(McKenzie).Mack is on a mission to destroy the person she believes who killed her mother. That person is none other the Marc.At first they are both trying to figure each other out but there is a strong attraction that can not be denied. Once they really get to know one another the love blossoms. All the characters truly makes this an exciting read. Once you start and really get into the story before you know it you are done. Ms. Thomas really puts her heart into her stories.I would love to see a story about Jim and Carla. Again this is an excellant read you will truly enjoy it.

I truly love the way Ms Thomas writes a story so eloquently that involves family and friends. Mckenzie Ashford, devistated by her mothers' death and looking to take revenge on the person she feels responsible. Marc Chandler the owner of the company, where McKenzie becomes employed is the target. This is such a well thought out plot that matches perfect with its character development and even the actual feelings each character portrays is excellent. The author pulls you into this story, that you feel the affects all the way to the end.Well, let me recommend this book for you to read in its entirety. Its an excellent plot, you'll enjoy the characters (all of them), its an easy read, fast paced and meets up to the Jacquelin Thomas standards. Thanks, Jacquelin for another great novel that I truly enjoyed. Since I love all of Jacquelin Thomas's books, my recommendation is to just read them all and look forward to her next one like myself!
