Reading this will become a favorite family ritual

My two little boys love snuggling up at the end of the day to read this delightful book. As the previous reviewer suggested, the repeated phrases make this a book that kids soon "learn," and can then help read along. The illustrations are wonderfully warm and "retro"/1950s looking; this is so refreshing to see in this age of ultra bright neon photo-shopped everything. The author has given us a lullaby that we've made into our family's own--this is a great gift.

sleepy time

This is a baby bedtime story. It features each family member. They are all here from mama and daddy right down to the dog! They all love baby and they show it in different ways. It was a great read for my girls at bedtime. It repeated the phase "we all love baby, yes we do on every other page. By the end of the book my girls were "reading" along!
