The title of this cookbook, Family Fare, evolved from a place this family had on Lake Anna, Virginia, called Family Affair, where most of the children of the family-children, foster children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren-grew up, thus the name Family Affair. This family has always cooked together and played together, and this cookbook is Kathy's legacy for her family and close friends.
