A Book to Savor

The poems in this book are intense and a beautiful. It's a very readable book--one grounded in everyday experiences. I like the luminous images of home & hearth, of love & loss. It's a tender book. It's fierce and uncompromising. Lynn Trombetta's a gifted poet. This is a book to buy, to read, and to savor.

Exquisite book

I can hardly believe what I read in the review here just before mine! What was this person thinking??? I'm a poet of many years and have read reams of poetry, particularly women's poetry, and this is one of the loveliest, most evocative books I've come across in years. Visually stunning, the contents lives up to the cover, particularly in poems like "My Mother's Hair," "The Bath," "The Last Moon of Pregnancy" and "Apple Picking." I only hope to hear more from this author.
