It's okay

The characters are not likeable at all. The story is okay at most. The plot is not the Best i have ever read.

I love this book and the series. I read book 2 and 3 in less than a week! Can't wait to get the other books. They have love, adventure, thrill and magic all combined.

Harsh and Cruel

Senseless murder, clueless kings, incest… What’s not to like? A list of characters at the beginning rather than development. Better just watch the news!

A great series start!

What a great start to this series! When I read that there were 4 main characters I obviously expected that they'd all end up together halfway through the book. Instead, this is more of an epic fantasy series, where you're following several story lines. The characters are going to have great growth, I can feel it, especially since this isn't a trilogy. Excited for book two!

This book is written so well. It is a very easy read. Great story, I did not want to put it down.

Great series!

Been following this series for a couple years now. It's in multiple POVs. You go from hating one character to loving him/her and visa versa. Kinda reminds me of Game of Thrones in that sense. If you want a series similar in style and maybe aimed for a younger audience, I highly recommend this book. Even then as an adult, I thoroughly enjoy the book.
