Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel is a short romantic tale about the love between two souls, finding each other again and again through time and space. A woman wakes up from sleeping in a giant flower only to be met by an angel watching over her. What awaited her was a transcendental journey where she uncovers bits and pieces of her memories as well as the angel's past through the visions she receives. It's an experimental short novel with a romantic theme, blending with poetry, philosophical ideas and the personal take on some of the aspects of love and romance. The novel is written with a few different styles as an expression of exploratory creativity, connecting the short stories through the overall theme.

"... The angel watched the starlit void from where he stood, washed with tranquility and with his feet firmly grounded on the vast warm dunes of the desert. A giant planet could be seen on the horizon, it was so enormous that it almost took up one's whole field of vision if looked at directly. Alien and oddly beautiful to a human, with so many strange cloudy shapes and colors painted the otherworldly giant planet. Several rings crowned the giant as itself dominated the horizon as the prime jewel of the sky. An enormous moon orbited in the sky, it was either a large planetoid or simply very close to the desert planet the angel was on as he could see valleys and craters covering the surface of the large moon. The night was incredibly beautiful yet so alien from a human's perspective. The Angel watched the planets, the stars and the grand void with serenity in his soul.

The angel himself looked like a beautiful man with a slim body in a fit shape, similar to that of an athlete. He wore nothing but black trousers and a glimmering pearl white sash around his waist. His grand white wings were so beautiful and lush that they would enthrall anyone at first sight. His hair was soft as cashmere and long, reaching below his shoulders. It was black as coal but in certain lighting and situations it would shift briefly into a radiant golden color, and sometimes into white as purest of snow. His eyes were normally golden but just as his hair did change color in different lighting his irises hinted green, blue, black, grey, brown or even purple in certain perspectives and lighting but it also depended on the mood of the beholder. If one looked carefully into his eyes they would notice that they would be prismatic, shifting endlessly into various beautiful colors, like flawless gemstones subjected to light. His eyes were clear and deep as if his mind was free from the distorted thoughts that plagued humanity and their burdens; there was only pure love and light.
