After waking the beast inside of him, Darius must now re-learn what it is to be Darius, with a happy and obnoxious Quigley enjoying the ride. Upon leaving his mothers island compound, Darius finds himself being more, and more distant from the ones he loves. Maria finds out that Quigley is inside of Darius, through Harris, Darius's best friend, who she sends to try and talk Darius into coming back home. Harris is unsuccessful in his quest, with Quigley sending him away with just a thought. Upon arriving at Lars's old castle, a camp is already set up, waiting for them, around the backside of the mountain, this is where Darius gets to call home for awhile. Quigley has other plans in mind which will keep them busy anyway, plans Darius will not like much at all. A great battle is imminent, with Maria personally creating many apprentices just for this fight. As Darius finds out who he truly is and what all must be done, his mother and father find themselves in grave danger, in need of his help. Darius must gather more strength than is in him, that is, if he's to save them from certain death, only problem is, Darius is to weak to fight anyone.
