In this Sherwood Boys adventure the boys are now in their late teens and find themselves taking different paths to arrive in Malta. Andrew by accepting a position to lead a project with a subcontracted organisation Tech Valletta to improve Malta tourists boards new visitors Virtual Reality experience. David reason for heading to Malta is more mysterious, approached after his online TED talk presentation on the history of Data storage by a strange Maltese gentleman. He is hired to help in track down and returning a piece of stolen technology, which the old man refers to as the Falcon. David and Andrew agree to meet up in Malta where they find they are both entangled in the search for this Falcon device. Andrew has his suspicions about his employers DunyaMobil's involvement in the missing Falcon when he overhears it mentioned as he leaves a meeting. His suspicions are further increased when working late he stumbles on a restricted file named Falcon. Meantime, David checks out the Maltese gentleman who has hired him to find the Falcon, and when he performs an online search using the Maltese gentleman's name it only serves to deepen the mystery when he discovers incredibly the old man connection with Malta could go back as far as 500 years. How could this be? David sends Andrew the web link to the information as he waits for his flight to Malta. After a few days on the island David has all explained to him by the old Maltese gentleman when he and Andrew visit his home on Gozo. After which all becomes clear and they first try to retrieve the stolen Falcon during the Mosta festival. When this fails they have one last chance the festival celebrating 500 years of the Knights of St John inhabiting Malta and the gift of the Falcon to the king of Spain. This time the boys identify track and attempt to snatch the Falcon device from its user and influencer who will stop at nothing to dominate social media, and her business support who will stop at nothing to dominate the communications worldwide market. Their plan to harvest and sell on huge amounts of personal data leaving millions if not billions trapped in and online VR would like never before. Can the boys get the Falcon from the influencer and stop billions being addicted to following her every post utilising the new hypnotic euphoria experience of the Falcon. Will the boys prevent complete online emersion and massive personal data harvesting?
