And a joint U.S. and German spy operation took over a commercial cryptography company that sold products all over the World, and eavesdropped on secret Global communications for decades.The the Fake News about a seabed mining ship was put out, when it was actually a special recovery ship purpose-built by the U.S. Government, The vessel actually tried to salvage the remains of a nuclear warhead-armed, sunken Russian submarine from the ocean depths.Also Japanese auto companies falsely accuse a billionaire electric car manufacturer of stealing trade secrets, and have warrants for his arrest issued. As a result he's forced to take refuge on the International Space Station to stay out of their clutches.The novel touches on the issues of poverty and homelessness, as well as education. And the reasons why people so readily believe false news stories are examined, along with the need for fact-checking.
