A heartwarming book I just couldn’t put down!

I’m not big on writing reviews, but this book was so incredible I just had to write one! As a queer person born in the States whose mom is Chinese-Malaysian with family in Singapore, it was beautiful to read a story so rich with familiar culture. This book will teach you about Singaporean-Chinese culture and cuisine while also pulling at your heart strings. With pop culture references and fun puns I highly recommend Fake Dates and Mooncakes to teens, YAs, and anyone else who wants a nice heartwarming story!
