This book is good news for all those spiritual seekers who just cannot bear to go to the Christian churches. Not surprisingly the good news is the same Good News preached by Jesus of Nazareth. The big change is that salvation is no longer to be seen in terms of a sacrificial atonement for our sins, rather salvation is realisation of the Truth that is we all share the nature of God, that at our deepest level of consciousness we are one with God, and that the Kingdom of God is the direct experience of unity with the divine in this life. This new Good News is that resurrection is a possibility before death and not just something that happens after death.
