Good introduction to junior high ministry

Having worked as a youth pastor for a decade, I thought that this book was a good introduction to working with junior high or middle school students. There are not too many books on this subject on the market, so I can see it as being very helpful to those starting out working with this age group. Good information on developmental issues that would be helpful to teachers as well. The book takes a useful approach to spiritual formation that is appropriate to the age group. It also has some good things to say about utilizing junior high kids in leadership roles, an aspect of this ministry that is often neglected. Finally, there is pertinent information on brain-based research that will be helpful to leaders trying to understand how junior high kids think. Worth your time to read this!
