Fair Winds and Following Seas: Remembering Mike Miller

Beloved United Methodist pastor Dr. J. Michael Miller impacted the lives of those who knew him with his keen intellect, his exuberant humor and his steady Christian faith. His passing on July 7, 2015 was mourned by people across the country and around the world. But in true Miller fashion, Mike's "Celebration of Life" memorial service was filled with laughter and song. Here are first person stories from people who knew and loved him. The memories span the years of his life from the US Naval Academy through seminary and pastoring student churches to Woodridge, Illinois and teaching at ORU in Tulsa, then back to Illinois and then to Roswell UMC in Georgia.Here also are one or two of Mike's sermons, as well as portions of his book Faithful People and his recent Christmas letters.
