Factors limiting household membership of Mutuelle de Santé

Household membership of mutual health insurance schemes in sub-Saharan Africa, and particularly in the DRC, remains low. A large proportion of the population lives in extreme poverty and has no access to healthcare. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors (linked to the health mutual and to households) limiting household membership of the Kadutu MUSA, with a view to making recommendations that could help strengthen the mutualist system in DR Congo.
