Fabrica di Roma village on the Via Amerina

This Carnet de Voyage, is part of the itinerary along the path of the ancient Roman road Amerina in the upper Viterbo area. Fabrica di Roma, m 296 (ab 7.005), is an agricultural center with industrial activities (ceramics), located on the extreme eastern slopes of Cimini. It is believed to have been built by the refugees of Falerii Novii. Remembered in 1093, it became a castle in the thirteenth century; in 1539 it passed to Pier Luigi Farnese.
