When Fabio Came to Live in America

Fabio Viviani left his Italian home for the shores of America. His Italian roots vs. American home cooking gives the reader a new point of view in using the products we use daily in new flavor profiles. Apple Pie served as a side dish is just bonkers made with sharp cheddar and Parmesan cheese in a nutmeg scented savory piecrust. Spaghetti with arugula and almond pesto is a cost saving take on the traditional pine nut preparation. The pictures are an added bonus for a very well put together cookbook.
