In Nashville, Tennessee, Jackson is a wannabe cowboy who works as an interior decorator while trying to maintain a macho facade. On the other hand, Sophia exudes self-confidence as a fitness instructor.

One night at a country music dance club, Jackson asks Sophia to dance, and they impress each other with their Western Swing. After the dance, Sophia asks about Jackson's profession, and he panics and leaves her on the dance floor.

Their paths cross again at various country music venues in Nashville, and they grow closer. However, Jackson keeps his true job a secret from Sophia, fearing it will ruin their relationship.

As their relationship progresses, Jackson's facade becomes harder to keep up. Sophia begins to suspect something is off, and tension builds until Jackson must confront his fears and reveal the truth.
