Rather disappointing

The title suggests a book detailing the war record of the F-100 over the skies of SE Asia, when in fact there are only about six pages with very basic information dedicated to that implied subject. The rest of the book details mechanical differences between the various models of Super Sabre, some of the flight performance characteristics, and a brief section on non-U.S. service. While all of that is interesting in its own right, it most definitely is not a collection of firsthand accounts from F-100 pilots flying combat operations. If that is what you are looking for, this is not the book for you.
