Trials and Triumphs

I am a mother and student, I read this book for my college course and was truly surprised to find such wonderful writing in a children's book. Great detail, great story within a story, the trials and tribulations that everyone goes through in life, all ages, and the great feeling when you triumph them all. A must read for both of my children.

This is an awesome book.

It is about a boy named Bailey who comes face to face with a grizzly bear. And his dad gets heat sickness and they have to move to Montana. You will find out the rest in the book. It is a good interesting book. It should be recommended to 3rd through 5th grade. I learned how to act with a bear.

What will happen?

Heat sickness pops Bailey Trumbull's life into two pieces because his dad gets it and forces him to move north from Texas to Montana. Will Bailey get chewed up by a bear or find himself in the eye of the great bear? Will Bailey be a coward or be brave? If you are in 4th or 5th grade, you are in luck because that is who I recommend this book to. What will happend to Bailey Trumbull? Read this book and find out.

You would not be able to put this book down.

This book is about an eleven-year-old boy named Bailey Trumbull. All of the kids at school called him a coward because every time he heard or saw a firecracker, he would run off jumping as high as a kite. Even his own brothers made fun of him and thought that he would jump at almost anything. Bailey hated the 4th of July. But it was on the 4th of July when Bailey was at the carnival in Abilene. He went to see a medicine man. The medicine man kind of stepped back when he saw him, but he had givin him an astonishing profecy:"Some men spend all of their life searching for who they are, you'll see yourself in the eye of the great bear. Bailey didn't know what he meant. Bailey didn't worry about it, for his daddy had gotten heatsickness, andj the family had to move to Montana. Then his whole life had changed, everything had become so topsy-turvy. His whole life had changed. Except for whenj he went to school, everything was the same. Everybody had still made fun of him, and the "sissy" reputation had stuck to him. It stuck to him everywhere he went. Until one day, the medicine's man prophecy came true, and Bailey had to make a decision thaÝ risked his life.

This was the best I've ever read.

I loved it. Enough said
