EYE IN THE SKY stars Helen Mirren as Colonel Katherine Powell, a UK-based military officer in command of a top secret drone operation to capture terrorists in Kenya. Through remote surveillance and on-the-ground intel, Powell discovers the targets are planning a suicide bombing and the mission escalates from "capture" to "kill." But as American pilot Steve Watts (Aaron Paul) is about to engage, a nine-year old girl enters the kill zone, triggering an international dispute reaching the highest levels of US and British government over the moral, political, and personal implications of modern warfare.

The basic story is to use a drone to dispatch terrorists. One has to balance the collateral removal of a bread girl vs the dispatching of potential future atrocities.
A big decision involving many people and their attitudes.
The value in the movie is a good collection of top actors, including the late Alan Rickman; we also have a great Shakespearian actor, Helen Mirren.
There are a few explosive scenes, including “it is all your fault” dialogue. The tension builds up as they draw out the scene on whether they will or will not remove the bread girl.
Who would have suspected that this was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa?
