Ocean storms are terrifying.

This book is a collection of true stories of survival in deadly situations (mostly ships capsized by storms) retold by the author. At the end of each chapter/story, the author explains characteristics or events that he believes helped the survivors make it through. The stories are jaw-dropping and competently retold by Michael J. Tougias. After reading it, I lent it to a friend that is into shipwreck stories - they loved it too, and I could see this book as a great companion to a group discussion.
