Tries too hard to be campy

It starts slowly and noisily. But wait, it gets slower and noisier. For those brave few who turned it off before it got really bad, I salute you. You will need subtitles and the pause button to keep up with the dialogue. This is a mock exorcist, foreign-produced, heavily accented, cheap shot at old ghost movies. Some of the movies are even mentioned by name. The characters are too exaggerated. Even though they did not try to hide it, the ending and most of the action are known before you get there. Rose Dooly, the driving instructor (steering wheel on the wrong side of the car), hides her secret talent as a manipulator of the paranormal. One day, she meets Martin Martin (Barry Ward) and finds herself compelled to ignore her misgivings and help Martin Martin with his paranormal problem. But wait, evil abounds and may overcome Rose’s helpful intentions. You will find yourself rooting for the poor unfortunate who has gone astray, Christian Winter (Will Forte). Nothing seems to go right for him, but with our help in Kibitzing, there is a chance that he will prevail.
