Yahushua narrated the parable of the ten hired bride/groom's maids. Five of them were unwise in their decisions and five among them were wise in their decisions. The difference is that the wise ones planned ahead and took extra oil for their lamps to last till the bride and groom arrive home for the wedding festivities. The unwise maids/servants did not plan ahead for the event. Perhaps for lack of understanding of the magnitude of the occasion that they were hired to be part of. The chosen ones of our God need extra oil or understanding of what is required of them, where? and when? by the groom at his return home.
