Step by step guide for composing multi-layer flower paintings.

The instructions are solid. The artist obviously knows what she's doing and is a good teacher. The actual style of writing gives me a toothache. Like an early 2000s mommy blog. I just purchased this at my local book shop and I am pleased with the guide but I despise this style of writing. I don't want to know about the artist's "hubby". If I could describe this book using stock photos it would be white women laughing while eating green salads(see page 88 if this book). I would give it 2 or 3 stars for the style of writing but 5 stars for organization and 5 stars for the overall instructional content. Would you like to learn multilayer painting? Buy the book. The author is a great teacher and there are plenty of color photographs to help the user understand concepts.
