About the AuthorDr. Leonard D. Barber is a dynamic speaker and thought provoking teacher of the Word of God. He is called upon by many who are in leadership positions, because of his desire to be clear and concise in the correct exegesis of the Holy Scriptures. Dr. Barber has been writing poetry since the age of 14 and is the author of two devotional books, "Keys of the Kingdom" and Walking in the Favor of God". Dr. Barber has also been an Adjunct Professor, and due to his education and training has a great knowledge of the Holy Bible. His knowledge as well as expertise has been experience by many who have sat under his teachings. The Lord called Dr. Leonard D. Barber into the ministry in 1993. He was licensed in 1994 by Pastor Herb Brooks at St. John Missionary Baptist Church (NBC) in Joliet, IL. He was ordained in 1999 at Hyland Heights Baptist Church (SBC) in Lynchburg, VA. Dr. Leonard Barber has studied at Princeton Theological Seminary. He has several degrees, including an Associate of Theology from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Theology from the International School Theology, a Bachelor of Theology and a Masters of Divinity & Theology from Community Bible Institute & Seminary and a Doctor of Divinity from Amherst Theological Seminary, Doctor of Humanities from Metropolitan Christian University, Doctor of Ministry from International Circle of Faith Seminary. He also has two Diplomas from Moody Bible Institute and currently studying Sacred Theology at the University of Notre Dame as well as several certificates in Church Planting Training. Dr. Barber has taught as an adjunct professor teaching such topics as Systematic Theology, Neuthetic Counseling, Pastoral Epistles, Urban Church Planting and the Book of James.
