Ruth, a distraught and depressed middle-aged psychiatrist who goes to her office every day but doesn't see patients. She has resorted to teaching adult education adjunct classes in her conference room. She doesn't trust herself to see patients one-on-one anymore. Since she owns the practice her staff keeps her in business while she tells herself she is doing something productive.
The class is titled Creative Writing; an English credit. Students are there for a number of other reasons. Ruth pries into their lives without getting too close. This particular class may result in Ruth being the ones that makes the most changes.
