Fun standard disaster movie

There are enough standard disasters to create two parts totaling at least 174 minutes. The same standard characters and the dumb movie that aggravate the disaster and us. A fancy new space shuttle is built with a new propulsion system. It inadvertently goes off course and triggers an "Exploding Sun." On top of that, there is a love triangle or two. Are we all goners? Watch and see.
