One of the great faculties of a wise man is the ability to listen. And though it may appear simple, listening is one of the most challenging practices for individuals, because in our eagerness to be heard, we forget to listen.

In this book, "Experiences of a Migrant," Antonio Villalobos, a humble worker from California, shares some of the stories he has heard throughout his career in the profession of car washing and detailing.

This work has granted him the opportunity to listen firsthand to the stories of hundreds of individuals who, while waiting for their cars to be washed, generously share with Antonio.

Each story carries its own aroma, its special essence, characters so distinct from one another that it's very difficult to determine which one is more impactful than the other.

Some of these stories seem like fairy tales, while others are lessons that remind us of life's true values, and still others simply offer us hope.

This book contains five of these stories. They are the first ones to be told, but we hope they won't be the last.
