Well Worth Reading

Here's a finely written book, absorbing and spellbinding throughout. Voedisch boldly jumps into the ugly life of an alcoholic mother and the grim impact of the drinking on her son. As this world teeters and begins to collapse, strength and hope reveal themselves in unexpected ways that will not only inspire readers but leave them that same realistic hope if ever it's needed. The author has a smooth, economic writing style with an eye to illusion and reverie that is most unique and enjoyable. This is a book about angels--but this is not a sappy book about angels fluttering about. It's a book about the angels we can all can find in the atoms and photons when the need is greatest. Well worth reading.

Grabs you!

Excellent book - once I started reading, I couldn't put it down until I arrived at the last page. Characters draw you in and get you "attached" almost right away. I also loved the spiritual aspects woven throughout the novel. I will definitely be faithfully waiting for the sequel!

Excited Light is a perfect mixture of realism and fantasy. The story touches on many different emotions. You will not want to put it down once you begin!

"Excited Light" is for any reader who has an open mind and an open heart. Alex, the young boy, is not having an easy time in life, nor is his mother. But with the help of an outside force, or of angels, they survive and thrive.
