Bravo!

I was relieved after I read this book. I had read a book called "Exchange 2000" by Gerber which I could not get to work properly and left me very frustrated.I needed to understand Exchange server in a hurry to prepare for interviews. I had no prior knowledge of Exchange.This book was beautifully written. A masterpiece! Simple to understand for a beginner. I would say its the best possible starting point as a beginner and by the time you're done you'll have a good solid understanding of just about everything in Exchange server.

Great starting block

I did not know anything about exchange server and i tried to install it first up with no references, obviously encountering many problems. This book was a great help, after reading it i was successfully able to install and configure exchange with relative ease. It is as the title suggests, a beginners guide as it does not dive into to much detail that may be required for more complex administration.

not to bad

This book is extremely easy to read, and is good for day to day administration, however for a serious dose of what goes on behind the scenes with exchange you will want something a little deeper. However for the ease of reading and pretty complete coverage of the topic I give it a 4. It will teach you about %90 of what is needed to adminster exchange.
