The author kept my interest from start to finish. I could not lay this book down. It was full of suspense, intrigue, love, hate, murder, with a former Marines courage being the ingredient that was most compelling to me. Just can't wait for Mr. Sweeten's next book.
I loved it!

This book was exciting from the very first page. I couldn't put it down. The author was so descriptive on India that I felt like I was there. I had no idea these things really happened!
Great read and hard to lay down.

I knew so little about India and the unimaginable black market trade of human parts, but the characters and their development kept my interest to the point that I could not easily put the book down. The author did a masterful job of tying the principals together. Mystery, intrigue, somewhat gruesome at times, but determination and love are all found in this book by a promising new author. I hope more of his writings follow.

This book really captured my attention. I read it in three days and had a tough time staying away from it long enough to get any work done. Mr. Sweeten developed the characters enough so that you felt a connection to them but not to the point of becoming too familiar. While I know it is a novel, I had the impression that there is more than a spattering of truth at the heart of the story. The book is filled with adventure, intrigue, suspense, love, hate, disgust and surprise. I will definately keep an eye open for Mr. Sweetens next book.
