Dvd was a cheap rip that someone made. Was not what I wanted

I urge everyone to go rediscover 1990's scifi. It's not just The Matrix. Gattaca stands out for being a noir-ish, heist-ish film that doesn't rely on the typical tropes of the genre. Overall, the movie never lives up to it's full potential and offers few surprises while hammering it's point, however it never flounders either. It leans into it's concept and doesn't waiver, and the audience buys in. It's definitely one to check out, and certainly one that shows the 1990's had plenty to offer for every sci/fi fan.
